The first step in the removal of ceramic tile is to take out the trim covering the edges of the tiles. Next, scrape out the grout found on the perimeter of the tiles. Caulking on the vertical corners should also be properly scraped out. For removing these elements, equipments such as sharp utility knife, razor blade, and grout saw with wooden or plastic handle can be used.
